Playbook
Trust with donors is earned across years and lost in a single missed communication.
Nine years across two nonprofits taught the most consistent lesson in this work: the programs that survive funding cycles are the ones with documented processes, clear impact trails, and donor relationships maintained between reporting periods — not just at renewal time. The playbook is built around showing up before you need something, writing things down so programs outlast any one person, and being specific enough with government partners that asks don't get lost in departmental ambiguity.
How I lead
Show up before you need something
Donor and government relationships are maintained continuously — not activated at renewal time or when an ask needs to be made. The relationship is the asset.
Accountability in every direction
Responsible to funders for how money is spent, to communities for what programs deliver, and to field teams for clear direction and adequate support. All three, always.
Be specific with government
Vague asks get lost. Effective government engagement means knowing which department, which officer, which budget line, and which outcome to request — before the first meeting.
Write it down so it outlasts you
Programs documented well enough to run without their founder are programs that survive staff transitions, funding gaps, and leadership changes.
How I think about architecture
Every stakeholder has a real interest — finding it is the first move, not the last
↗ Civic InfrastructureImpact without documentation doesn't travel — what isn't measured doesn't get funded next year
↗ Maarpu TrustGovernment partnerships require patience and specificity: exactly which department, exactly what ask
↗ Civic InfrastructureDonor relationships are built between events, not at them

Fundraising & Donor Relations
End-to-end fundraising across domestic and international networks — donor acquisition, renewal, reporting, and the relationship management that converts one-time supporters into long-term partners.
Government & Civic Liaison
Direct engagement with government bodies — GHMC, Secunderabad Cantonment Board, Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad Police — to secure infrastructure, coordinate events, and advance organizational goals through civic partnerships.
Program Management
Grassroots program planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting across education and health sectors — with accountability in all directions: to funders, beneficiaries, and field teams.
Communications & Outreach
Organizational voice management across newsletters, digital platforms, and public events — keeping donors informed, engaged, and confident in how their contributions are being used.
Core strengths
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments — donors, government, communities, media — without losing the mission
- Turn abstract impact into donor-ready narratives that earn renewals and referrals, not just acknowledgements
- Build programs that run on documented processes rather than institutional memory held by one person
- Communicate across registers: field teams, bureaucrats, diaspora donors, and community members, all in one day
Operating constraints I hold myself to
