Playbook
Children who feel known learn more than children who are managed.
Five years of teaching — across community tutoring and one of India's leading primary schools — kept returning to the same truth: the quality of the relationship between teacher and child is the foundation everything else is built on. The playbook starts with knowing each child as a whole person, designs instruction from there, and holds academic progress and personal development as equally important outcomes from the same work.
How I lead
Know the whole child
Every student is a person in development — academically, emotionally, morally. Teaching starts with understanding who they are, not just where they are in the curriculum.
Safety before correction
Children who are afraid to be wrong stop attempting. Psychological safety for risk-taking — in language, in ideas, in who they're becoming — is the prerequisite for everything else.
Nurture toward their best self
The goal is not compliance or performance — it is helping children grow into thoughtful, ethical, curious people. That shows up in how the classroom is run, not just what is taught.
Documentation advocates for students
A well-maintained progress record speaks for a child in conversations where they are not present. It is an act of care, not administration.
How I think about architecture
Know the child first — their curiosity, their edges, and what makes them come alive — before designing the lesson

Integrated Primary Teaching
Delivers the full Classes 3–5 curriculum except mathematics — English language arts, sciences, social studies, arts, and cross-curricular units — using an inquiry-based, learner-centered framework.
Holistic Child Development
Holds academic progress and personal development as equally important outcomes — nurturing children's moral reasoning, curiosity, emotional intelligence, and sense of self alongside subject learning.
Differentiated Instruction
Designs lessons that meet students across ability levels — adapting task complexity, scaffolding, and materials without reducing the standard or singling anyone out.
Assessment, Feedback & Family Partnership
Uses formative checkpoints and progress documentation to track each child's trajectory — and communicates with families in a way that builds genuine partnership rather than one-directional reporting.
Core strengths
- Know each child well enough to design instruction that meets their specific combination of strengths, interests, and growing edges
- Create classrooms where children feel safe to take academic and social risks — where being wrong is part of how learning works
- Hold the full child in view across academic and personal development simultaneously, not sequentially
- Build family trust through communication that is specific, warm, and forward-looking rather than evaluative
